What GossipGarden does

GossipGarden sends review requests to the customers you add, by email, and one or two reminders on the schedule you choose. Every customer gets the same ask. It also hosts a public review page for your business, tracks clicks on your review links, and sends you a weekly summary.

GossipGarden never filters customers by how happy they seem, never posts reviews for anyone, and never edits or removes reviews on any platform. Reviews belong to the customers who write them and to the platforms they are written on.

Your account

You need to be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business you register. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One account represents one business location.

Give us accurate details, including a real business name and postal address. The postal address appears in the footer of every email we send for you because US law (CAN-SPAM) requires it.

Trial, price and cancellation

New accounts get a 14-day free trial. A payment card is collected at signup through Stripe; nothing is charged during the trial, and cancelling before it ends means you are never charged. After the trial GossipGarden costs $29 per month, in US dollars, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. There are no setup fees, contracts or minimum terms.

You can cancel at any time from Billing in the app. Cancelling stops the next charge; your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund partial months.

If a payment fails, sending pauses until the payment goes through. We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next billing period.

Acceptable use

You agree to use GossipGarden only to ask your own customers for honest reviews. You will not:

• ask for reviews from people who are not your customers, or import lists of people who never did business with you;
• offer money, discounts or anything else in exchange for a review, or ask for positive reviews only;
• use the service to send anything other than review requests and reminders;
• remove or hide the unsubscribe link or postal address from an email, or contact someone who has unsubscribed;
• break the rules of the review platforms you link to (for example, Yelp does not allow asking for reviews, so GossipGarden only lists Yelp as a passive link).

Text messages (SMS)

Texting is an optional add-on. If you switch it on, you may only text customers who have given your business prior express written consent to receive texts, as US law (the TCPA) requires. You record that consent in GossipGarden when you add the contact, and we keep the wording and the time it was given. Having that consent is your responsibility; we will not text anyone whose consent is not recorded.

Every text names your business and says how to stop. A reply of STOP ends texts to that person immediately and permanently for your business; HELP gets a short explanation. Texts go out only during the hours the law allows in the customer's time zone. Standard message and data rates may apply to the recipient. Texts are delivered by Twilio on our behalf.

Your customers' data

Your contact list stays yours. We process it only to send the messages you ask us to send and to show you what happened. We do not sell it, share it with other customers, or use it for our own marketing.

You confirm you have the right to email the people you add. When someone unsubscribes, we stop emailing them for your business immediately and keep their address on a do-not-contact list (a suppression list) so they are not emailed again by mistake.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep GossipGarden available and to send messages on time, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service or that every email reaches every inbox. Review platforms change their rules and links; we update the app to follow them.

We may add, change or retire features. If we retire something you rely on, we will tell you by email first.

Limits of liability

GossipGarden is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Meteor City LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost reviews, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

We do not control review platforms. We are not responsible for reviews being published, removed or filtered by Google, Facebook or any other platform.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by writing to us; we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, especially the acceptable-use rules, after telling you why unless the law prevents it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use GossipGarden after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
